My story starts off as a kid who has always had a love for music. The first person I ever saw live was Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus, since then I knew I wanted to work with music in any way possible. Growing up, my mom had a Canon T3i I used to always play with and take pics of anything and everything, mainly my pug Belle. When I got to high school, they would always tell us to think about what we wanted to do when we grew up. For me being an artsy kid, I was a special effects makeup artist, a model, a fashion designer, and then a band rookie. When I was 16, I got an internship/job that changed my life. I started working with Live Nation on the Live Nation street team! Around November that year, my favorite band Red Jumpsuit Apparatus came to town and I had an interest in band photography. I asked the band if I could take pictures and they said yes! Let’s just say, I have come a long way since then. After that, I took a digital media class at a different school for 2 years and I got my own camera which was a Canon T5i. Thanks to my teacher, I met a great guy in the movie world who became my best friend Dylan Sides who has taught me so much in both the music and movie industry. Also thank you to my teacher Mr. Morrow who helped me and my partner win 2nd place for a music video called Sweet Disaster by DREAMERS at MIPA, an Honorable Mention for a PSA on texting and driving, and a Merit Award for same music video called Sweet Disaster by DREAMERS all during my senior year of high school! In my senior year of High school, I picked up my camera once again for photography and not cinematography and started doing photography again. I won 1st place in my category for wildlife which was amazing to me. I moved to Chicago and attended Columbia College Chicago for my BA in Business of Live and Performing Arts with a minor in Women, Society, and Sex Studies while still photographing artists. In 2019 Skillet used 2 of my photos for their new banner with PRS Guitars of Korey Cooper and Seth Morrison. I am also now featured on the Travel Channel on Ripleys Believe it or not on the episode Curisour and....! My work was also featured on IMDb with a photo of Nathan Jones, an Australian actor/wrestler, and featured on 311 website! More recently, I have been hired by Cumulus Media to help photograph Twisted Christmas in 2021 and 2022 with headliners like The Lumineers, Portugal The Man, The 1975, and Evanescence!
